Hyunjung Kim is an internationally acclaimed violinist, renowned for her exceptional contributions as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer. She has received accolades from esteemed international competitions such as the Yokohama International Competition, American Prize, American Fine Arts Festival, American Protégé, and Switzerland's Sion Valais International Competition (now known as the Young Tibor Barga Competition). Notably, she achieved unanimous first place in the Moscow International Competition, garnering widespread acclaim for her exceptional artistry and captivating performances.

On the global stage, Kim has collaborated with prestigious orchestras including the Korean National Symphony Orchestra, Harmony Chamber Orchestra, NERO Orchestra, New England Symphony, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, among others. She has been honored with the Best Performance Award from Lossane, Switzerland.

In the United States, Kim served as the youngest music director and concertmaster for the Philharmonia Boston Chamber Orchestra. Her solo and chamber performances at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center have received critical acclaim in the American music scene. She has released albums under the Spice Classics Label and has been invited as a guest artist and faculty member to distinguished music festivals such as the Banff Centre Chamber Festival in Canada and the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in the United States.

Kim holds degrees from Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School (recipient of the Yewon and Seoul Arts Outstanding Alumni Award), and Seoul National University. She earned her Master of Music from the New England Conservatory and the Pinkus Zukerman Performance Program at Manhattan School of Music on full scholarships. She obtained her doctoral degree from Boston University, where she was honored with the prestigious Honors Award.

Currently, Kim is committed to nurturing young talents at various educational institutions, including Sunhwa School, Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, Sookmyung Women's University, Sungshin Women's University, and Seoul National University of Education. She actively performs as a soloist and is associated with the Korean Chamber Orchestra (KCO), participating in notable concerts such as the KCO's Troica Concert, KT's Heartfelt Classics at the Seoul Arts Center, and the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra's Festivals.
